Wilson-Griffin Funeral Homes in Ash Grove and Walnut Grove have been part of this community for a long time—serving northwest Greene County, since 1896. That history means a lot to us, because it’s really a story about people, families, and relationships that have been built over generations.

After more than 44 years of dedicated service from John and Carolyn Wilson, Kasey and Rachel Griffin were honored to carry that legacy forward when they purchased the funeral homes. And in June 2026, they’ll be celebrating 10 years of owning and operating the business—a milestone that feels especially meaningful because of the trust you’ve placed in them along the way.

Truly, that’s what this is all about—you. The families, friends, and neighbors who have allowed us to walk alongside you during some of life’s hardest moments. It is a privilege we never take lightly. Being there to help honor your loved ones and support you with care, dignity, and attention to every detail is at the heart of what we do.

We’re proud of our facilities in both Ash Grove and Walnut Grove, but even more than that, we’re proud of the environment we’ve created—spaces that feel welcoming, comfortable, and supportive for everyone who walks through the doors.
